Croke Park Concerts and Matches

Generally if we have enough people looking to go to a concert or a match we will put on a dedicated bus for that concert or match, but in the event that we don’t have enough people or if our dedicated concert buses are full, you can get our normal JJ Kavanagh Bus service to and from Dublin. The following is information on how to get from our drop off bus stop in Dublin at Eden Quay to Croke Park and also how to get from Croke Park to our pick up bus stop on Georges Quay.

Eden Quay to Croke Park

Get off the bus on Eden Quay and walk to Abbey Street, Irish Life Mall stop 288, this is approximately a 300 meter walk (https://goo.gl/maps/JWRmSLyjshn). Take the number 41 bus towards Swords and get off of the bus at Drumcondra Road, Drumcondra Station stop 17. Then from here it is approximately a 500 meter walk (https://goo.gl/maps/sazqoowrBey). The cost of the Dublin Bus bus should be €2.00.

Croke to George’s Quay

Walk from Croke Park to Drumcondra Road, Drumcondra Station Bus Stop 47 which is about 600 meter walk (https://goo.gl/maps/W5r4otEwLs22), get the number 41 bus towards Lower Abbey Street and get off at Abbey Street, Irish Life Mall stop 288. The from Abbey Street it is approximately a 450 meter walk to the bus stop in George’s Quay (https://goo.gl/maps/sVBN3fyTjcF2).  The cost of the Dublin Bus bus should be €2.00

Buses to and from Waterford

Our bus will leave from Parnell Street in Waterford opposite the Rapid Cabs office, most people going to concerts or matches in Croke Park usually use one of the following buses: 10:00, 10:50, 12:50 or 13:55 bus, these buses take approximately 2 hours 15 minutes and only stop in Carlow with the exception of the 12:50 which bypasses Carlow. The return bus back from Dublin that people going to concerts take is the 00:50 bus from Georges quay which arrives back in Waterford at the Rapid Cabs office at 03:15, while most people going to matches take one of the following buses 18:00, 19:30 or 21:00 back to Waterford which takes approximately 2 hours 15 minutes.

The cost for this bus is €16 return for a student or €19 for an adult, and remember you have the flexibility to get any of the buses up and back, a full timetable can be viewed by clicking here.
